Combined DJI & FPV Combat Drone Operator Course Objective The course is designed for comprehensive and advanced training of operators of combat stabilized multirotor UAVs and FPV systems, with an emphasis on their integrated employment within mobile units. The program creates a unified development pathway: From fundamental piloting skills to the execution of complex reconnaissance-strike missions, Ensuring the highest level of combat readiness of the operator. Course Description The course is a three-level training program — Basic, Tactical (stabilized multirotor UAV), and Strike (FPV) — Enhanced with an integration module on UAV mobile group tactics. Each stage strengthens the previous one, Forming an extensive and fully complete skill set. Training covers the principles of drone employment in reconnaissance, Target engagement, Support of assault actions, And conducting operations under EW influence, In urban environments and open terrain. Duration and Methods 25 days (250 training hours) | Theory and practice Training is conducted: • In specialized training classrooms • On a training airstrip • In an urban training facility • In field and forest locations of the Alfa-Metal training center Intensity: High Instructors — Experienced specialists with confirmed combat experience Requirements • Basic knowledge of radio communication and topography — Preferred • Physical and psychological readiness for an intensive program Final Results Upon completion of the course, each student: • Will develop a comprehensive understanding of the employment of DJI and FPV within a unified combat system • Will master skills in reconnaissance, Target engagement, Working with combat payload, And signal relay principles • Will understand the principles of interaction between subgroups within a UAV mobile group • Will acquire an understanding of mission specifics in urban terrain, Open terrain, Under intense EW influence, And other constraints • Will confidently employ stabilized multirotor UAVs as platforms for reconnaissance and communication, And FPV as a strike instrument • Will master key aspects of mission planning according to the TLP procedure • Will be able to perform the full cycle of actions: Target reconnaissance → Target analysis → Target engagement • Will pass final assessment and receive a certificate of completion Equipment Platforms and systems used: • DJI Mavic 3 Pro, DJI Mavic 3T, DJI Mini 4 • DJI FPV, FPV 7” and 10” systems • FPV simulators • Relays and ground stations • Payload-release and combat-load systems Course Topics Basic Module Classification of UAVs, Main platforms: Stabilized multirotor UAV and FPV Fundamentals of safety and radio communication Use of drones in reconnaissance tasks Basics of piloting stabilized multirotor UAV and FPV Technical documentation and pre-flight preparation Basic flights with stabilized multirotor UAV FPV simulator: Piloting, Skill development, Spatial orientation Tactical Module (Stabilized Multirotor UAV) Role of stabilized multirotor UAV in modern conflicts Diagnostics, Firmware, Pre-flight preparation Signal masking, Route building, Radio discipline Integration of combat-load release systems Use of UAV as a relay platform Use of stabilized multirotor UAV in urban environments and under EW influence Day and night flights Operations in adverse weather conditions Tactical aerial reconnaissance Video-data decoding Use of thermal-imaging cameras Execution of complex missions Strike Module (FPV) Classification of strike FPV platforms Assembly, Configuration, FPV setup Basics of engineering and sapper training FPV under EW influence Methods of engaging various types of targets FPV simulator flights FPV flights with 5” / 7” / 10” platforms FPV combat maneuvers Engagement of targets of various categories Field repair and diagnostics UAV Mobile Group Tactical Module Structure of a UAV mobile group and role distribution Mission types: Reconnaissance, Convoy escort, Precision strikes, Assault-group support Use of UAV mobile groups in urban terrain and open terrain Mission planning according to TLP standard Interaction with friendly units Operational security Combined use of stabilized multirotor UAV and FPV as a unified system Execution of complex combined operations Covert movement, Launch and withdrawal Practical execution of tactical scenarios
