Operational Realities & Maintenance FAQ How does the electric recline handle heavy daily use? ▼ The Ballarat is built with a heavy-duty chassis and a high-torque, whisper-quiet single motor designed specifically for commercial salon turnover. It smoothly transitions clients into a zero-gravity position without stuttering. Is the lighter Matte Champagne vinyl prone to aggressive salon chemical stains? ▼ The antimicrobial, germ-resistant vinyl is engineered to withstand daily exposure to salon chemicals. However, light-coloured upholstery requires immediate action; undiluted bleach, 40-vol developer, and direct dye tints must be wiped off instantly to prevent permanent surface polymer degradation. Does the massage function complicate the plumbing installation? ▼ Not at all. The built-in airbag massage and electric recline run entirely independently of the plumbing. The unit features a convenient rear access panel in the pedestal, giving licensed plumbers unobstructed access to install the included Australian-approved WaterMark tapware for standard S-trap or P-trap configurations.
