KFAX14 - Logos Of The Venezuelan Minitecas Zine

KFAX returns with a 14th edition, collected by long-time labelmate Phran. This issue explores the Venezuelan Minitecas, mobile discos that emerged in the late 1960s and early 1970s, bringing DJs, large sound systems and lighting to parties and events. By the 1980s, Minitecas were widespread, with names such as Betelgeuse, Sound Crazy, ZC, Coconut, The Boss and High Voltage. Each developed its own visual identity, with distinctive logos appearing on flyers, equipment and promotional material. Playing Electro, New Wave, Miami Bass and Italo Disco, their musical mixture became known simply as ‘Changa’. This issue collects hundreds of their logos across 70 pages.
