Artek Domus Chair, Black, 2015

Domus chair designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Artek, presented here in an all-black finish from 2015.The curved wooden seat and broad backrest are balanced by compact, rounded armrests. The black finish gives the familiar silhouette a clear, graphic presence.Originally designed in 1946 for the Domus Academica student residence in Helsinki, Domus brings comfort and versatility to dining spaces and desks. The photographed underside carries Artek's 80-year anniversary label, marked 1935–2015 and Made in Finland.The chair is in very good condition with only minor signs of use and no major wear reported. Sold and priced individually.
