Rhubarb - Goliath Goliath is a vigorous, heavy-cropping rhubarb variety producing exceptionally thick green stalks attractively flushed and speckled with red. Once established, a mature crown can yield around 5 kg (11 lb) of tender, flavourful stalks in a season, making it an excellent choice for pies, preserves, sauces, and freezing. This substantial perennial grows approximately 100 cm (39") tall and wide and performs best in rich, moisture-retentive, well-drained soil.
