Matcha Bowl – Clear Glaze & Tenmoku #02

A handmade ceramic matcha bowl with an organic shape, softly waved rim and a combination of clear and tenmoku glaze. The clear glaze allows the warm colour and natural texture of the stoneware clay to remain visible. Around the lower part of the bowl, the tenmoku creates loose, earthy markings in brown and olive tones. Where the glazes meet, they have reacted naturally during firing, creating soft transitions and small variations across the surface. The inside is fully covered in clear glaze, creating a smooth surface for whisking matcha. With its rounded base, gently narrowing sides and 500 ml capacity, the bowl provides plenty of room to move the whisk comfortably. Please note: The matcha whisk, spoon, and whisk holder are not included, but can be added to complete your tea setup.
