Antique Bowed French Enamel Advertising Sign Mutual Fire Insurance Valence 1920s

DESCRIPTION Original vintage 1920s enamel advertising sign for French mutual fire insurance company in Valence. Made in France this colorful advertising bombe shaped sign displays the company name of the mutual and their coat of arms of Griffins holding the flag (motto is claws and talons). White lettering on a robin blue background with a multicolored image in between the title and the address of the agency. This was originally an external sign, hence why there is rust and edge missing from exposure to the elements over time. Signed: La Mutuelle de Valence Incendie This would make a great addition to any vintage sign, insurance or advertising collection. This would make a great early birthday or Fathers day gift. MEASUREMENTS Advertising sign measures 25.5" long by 19.5" tall by 2" thick and weighs 7lbs 8oz. CONDITION In fairly good condition and ready to hang with some loss of edging and enamel along with rust along the edges (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
