New oiled and waxed full-grain leather in a versatile deep black offers improved stain and water resistance, while an abrasion-resistant mudguard is now double stitched for added durability where the work hits hardest. Underfoot, the lugged outsole uses an upgraded slip-resistant TPU compound for better footing across slick kitchen floors and rugged outdoor terrain. An updated EVA insole compound improves cushioning and rebound through long days on your feet, while removable insoles make it easy to clean, swap, and refresh your support on the spot. And because a boot should never feel like something you have to lug around, The Chelsea 2 keeps the lightweight, sneaker-like flexibility that made the original a favorite. The roomy EE-width fit has been refined to run more true-to-size, with plenty of room through the toe box to move naturally.
