Introducing the aNueNue Hummingbird Soprano Ukulele. The US200HB is a limited-look version of the beloved Moonbird, with all the specs of the classic US200 but dressed up with gorgeous hummingbird and floral inlay work in mother of pearl, abalone, hardwood and turquoise across the headstock and body. Underneath the artwork it's the same serious instrument - solid Swiss Moon Spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides. Japanese luthier Mitsuta Morihiko designed this model with aNueNue, and the tone is bigger and warmer than about any soprano you'll find, with a sweet, bright, well-projecting voice up top and excellent warmth and lovely overtones from the back and sides. Despite the petite soprano body, there's surprising volume and singing highs that carry a melody, with a warm backdrop to fill out your strumming. A slightly radiused fretboard and immaculately polished frets keep it light and easy on the fingers - a genuine showstopper, both to look at and to play.
