RESTORED Swedish MCM Modular Rosewood Stereo Media Console by T.Kempe

For sale, we have this highly versatile vintage Mid Century Modern extending Brazilian rosewood with gorgeous grain stereo or media bench/ console by Tord Kempe for ABRA Furniture, Taberg, Sweden. The unit is made of 2 pieces. The top half sits independently on top of the bottom bench, so it can be slid away to extend the sideboard to various lengths. It can also be placed at a right angle on top of the bottom to be used in a corner. See photos and video. This is in superb condition for its age; we cleaned and polished it, and it is ready for the new home (a few hardly visible scratches). This versatile minimalist cabinet would be great to store your record player and the records, put TV on top, media devices on the shelves or use the space to display your books and objets d'art. Width (when closed) 63" x max width 118" x Depth 20" x Height 24.5"(top part)/ H 19" (bottom part). Recessed area (inside dims) 20.5" x 18.25" x H 5". Two horizontal shelves in the bottom cabinet are removable/ adjustable, the inside height is 13" (you need to remove the shelf if you want to keep records in these as well); two dovetailed drawers in the top part are clean and slide well.
