Kartomantik is a strategic two-player card game that moves away from traditional annihilation goals, focusing instead on the deep understanding and assimilation of the opponent's soul. Each player’s deck is a faithful mirror of their inner self, where every card and its Temperament represents a fragment of that soul. KartomantiK is not a trading card game, purchasing this set you get all the cards of the game! This item is available in both the languages english and italian, please select during the order. Game Contents: - 150 Unique Cards, distributed across: 5 Base Temperament packs (25 cards each). A Meta-Temperament pack (25 cards, containing Hollow/Transcendent Manifestations and Multi-Temperament/Hollow Wills). - A 28 pages book, featuring: a comic that expands on the lore of Kartomantik. Articles dedicated to the game universe. Official decklists from the Top 4 of the first Kartomantik tournament. The latest updates and revisions to the rulebook. Gameplay (to use this expansion set players need the KartomantiK base set) Play Time: 30-60 min The game unfolds through shared turns, revolving around the "Confrontation"—an intense exchange where the Cartomancers' souls are measured against each other. Every clash begins with the simultaneous revelation of a First Manifestation, representing an impulse, a fear, or a passion. To actively shape this dialogue, players utilize "Wills" cards, which are acts of pure intention capable of altering the course of the Confrontation. When a player prevails in a Confrontation, they assimilate the opposing Manifestations into their "Empathic Vessel." Their own Manifestations may return to their deck or be placed in the "Interzone," from which it can impact the game long-term. The game ends when one player's deck has been depleted. The winner is the one who has accumulated the most points in their Empathic Vessel, thus proving they have more deeply understood the inner self of their opponent. Beta Version Note: This version includes the errata corrige, and the cards have been opened up to multiplayer, introducing 2v2 and free-for-all modes for 3 to 5 players.
