You are buying 2 x springs as better to replace both also this comes with the installation tool . Over time the 60 year old ones you have start to get weaker and a little shorter . Below is a video showing the tool in action , its helps a lot and is still hard work , but you have a lot more control of the spring . https://www.buttysbits.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/20260922_140855.mp4 1965 – 1969 912 1965-1977 911 1970-1976 914 (These springs are 12mm diameter and 79mm long same dimensions as originals a little longer due to being new) OEM Number is 901424133 / 90142413300
