Ukrainian Literary Salon: Ely Edition

A relaxed evening of contemporary Ukrainian literature, in English & Ukrainian. Ticket includes a drink & snacks. All proceeds to charity. Join us in the Aedwen Room @ Ely Museum for a relaxed, creative evening featuring the best of contemporary Ukrainian prose, poetry and drama. Listen to our readers bring the fascinating pages of Ukrainian literature to life as you enjoy a glass of wine or soft drink and nibbles. Our readers will read from authors including Yaryna Chornohuz, Artur Dron, Oksana Lutsyshyna, Andriy Lyubka, Victoria Belim, Serhiy Zhadan and more. Readings will be in Ukrainian and English, with a written translation provided for each excerpt. One drink and snacks are included in the donation amount. There will be an opportunity to socialise and chat with other guests – and share recommendations for more amazing Ukrainian authors. Please note that this event is for age 18+. Please note that the programme will be the same as that for the Ukrainian Literary Salon: Spring held at King’s College, Cambridge, earlier this year. If you are booking for multiple people, please get the corresponding number of tickets as the room has limited capacity. Organised by the net&book collective. All proceeds go to the Library Country charity. Suggested donation – £15
