Uninhabitable - BODY, Ushuaia & Pampa

Uninhabitable - BODY, Ushuaia & Pampa Dimensions: four panels · 50 cm × 50 cm × 4 cm each Materials: Acrylic paste, paint, resin, gold leaf · sub-Antarctic minerals Year: 2026 Series: End of the World Two landscapes. Two extremes. One shared absence. Uninhabitable explores the contrast between the vast, dry Pampas and the endless ocean. Landscapes shaped by opposing forces, yet both inhospitable to human life in their purest form. Across four panels, earthy tones gradually dissolve into deep ocean blues, creating a continuous transition from land to water. Pigments, stones and natural materials collected on location are incorporated into the work, physically connecting the landscape to the canvas. Includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Artwork created by Marjolein Marx.
