Alcove / Horizontal carved grooves

A small wall alcove for your own icon. Like the niches that once sheltered icons and keepsakes, this alcove gives a place of honour to the objects that hold a story: a small figurine from your childhood, a carved animal brought back from holiday, a rock shaped like a heart. Handmade in stoneware, carved to create a texture that invites touch. Finished with a transparent glaze,it was fired in a gas kiln in a reduction atmosphere, bringing out depth and subtle variations in colour. One of a kind. Dimensions External: 13.5 × 12.5 cm, D: 7 cm Inner niche: 12 × 10 cm, D: 4 cm Use A small notch on the back lets it hang securely on a nail or screw. Can also rest on a shelf. Wipe clean with a dry or damp cloth. Each piece is made by hand and may differ slightly from the photos. These small irregularities are part of its character.
