1993 FODERA ANTHONY JACKSON CONTRABASS 6 ELITE – FROM THE GOLDEN ERA – WITH ORIGINAL HARD CASE

From the golden era of one of the best luthier in the business, this Fodera AJ6 is by far the best 6 string I have had in here. The playability of this bass is second to none, extremely low action , unreal neck profile and a tone that will put any other bass to shame. The neck-through build adds a lot sustain to it and the quilted maple top is just sublime. Mahogany back with an ash tone block and a 3 piece maple neck . As this is one of the early ones, it still has the original and coveted Haz Preamp, paired with magnificent Bartolini pickups. The boy fretboard with shell inlays is spectacular. The electronic is quite simple: 2 band eq, pup pan , volume, on/off switch and active/passive switch. Bass is completely original and comes inside the original fodera hard case.
