Cocoon Pant - Black Herringbone

Wide pants with a distinctive balloon silhouette, released continuously by Aviva Jifei Xue since the brand's early days. The outseam draws a gentle curve, and darts below the knee are added to the inseam, creating a dimensional, voluminous silhouette that flows from the relaxed hips. The Cocoon Pant was not originally made in this fabric in the collection, but as an exclusive specification for our shop, we had the fabric changed and the pants made in an autumn/winter version with a full lining. Unlike previous releases, only the back of the waist is elasticated, while the front has two tucks to create volume. Made from an archive linen and cotton fabric, in black. Rather than a pure black, it has a slight blue tint and can look like a blue-black. In dim light it appears close to black, while in bright light it looks more blue-black—a subtle, nuanced color achieved with natural dyes. Look closely and you'll see the fabric has a herringbone weave, a fabric with the depth characteristic of Aviva Jifei Xue. If you check the waist measurement in the size chart, it may look smaller than on other pants, but the elastic stretches to nearly 100cm at its maximum, so they can be worn by almost any body type. When choosing, rather than going by waist size, please choose according to your preference for overall width and length. As someone who is absolutely bothered by pants sliding down when a phone, wallet and the like are in the pockets—they're surprisingly heavy, and an elastic waist alone can't hold them up—I find belt loops a modest but very welcome feature.
