Lioré et Olivier LeO H.246 – 1/72 Triple Combo Box This special Combo Box includes three complete 1/72 scale LeO H.246 model kits, representing the aircraft in Air France, Luftwaffe and French Navy service. Together, the three models illustrate the remarkably varied career of this elegant French flying boat – from a pre-war Mediterranean passenger airliner to military aircraft serving on both sides during the Second World War. Kit overview All three models have been developed with particular attention to the characteristic shapes, surface details and structural features of the original aircraft. Each model includes a fully detailed pilot cockpit, with all visible interior and structural elements reproduced for maximum realism. The cockpit canopies and fuselage windows are produced using vacuum forming, ensuring clear transparency and a realistic scale appearance. Pre-cut paint masks for the cockpit glazing are included for all three models. The Triple Combo Box includes the following aircraft: Air France F-AREJ – civil passenger version, with parts, decals and masks also allowing conversion into Luftwaffe 24+62 Luftwaffe 24+63 – German military transport version French Navy 9E-7 / F-AREK – armed French naval version with detailed forward and rear military cabin sections and Darne machine guns Optional cabin interiors A detailed cabin interior is available as an additional option for the Air France and Luftwaffe models. For Air France F-AREJ / 24+62, one of three configurations can be selected: Air France passenger cabin – 26 passenger seats Luftwaffe transport configuration – 21 military seats Luftwaffe medical transport configuration – 7 stretchers For Luftwaffe 24+63, one of two configurations can be selected: Transport configuration – 21 military seats Medical transport configuration – 7 stretchers The French Navy 9E-7 model already includes detailed forward and rear military cabin sections with Darne machine guns as standard.
