U.S. Cartridge Box Plate

U.S. Cartridge Box Plate Oval brass cartridge box plate featuring bold raised “US” lettering within a double-lined border. The face displays a mellow golden-brown patina, small areas of darker oxidation. The lettering and border remain well defined. The reverse retains its lead backing and both wire attachment loops, used to secure the plate to the cartridge box flap. An attractive example with strong display appeal for a Civil War accoutrement collection. Inventory Number: BEL 659 Add to WishlistAlready In Wishlist Add to Wishlist
