Vintage 1954 Ladybird “The Silver Arrow” Robin Hood Book

A wonderful early Ladybird book, The Silver Arrow: A Robin Hood Adventure, written by Max Kester and illustrated by John Kenney. Originally published in England in 1954 as part of Ladybird’s Series 549, this charming hardcover features richly colored illustrations and the classic compact format that made Ladybird books so recognizable. This copy does not retain a dust jacket and shows age-related wear to the cover and spine, including rubbed edges and corners. There is also a pen-written inscription on the title page and a few areas of loose interior binding, although all pages are intact. Each spread contains a full color illustration, approximately 50 pages total. Sourced in England, originally published 1954.
