Kheti Culture Colocasia cake Sungratsu Dry Anishi cakes 250gm
Indulge in the authentic flavors of Northeast India with our Anishi, a traditional Naga delicacy meticulously crafted by the Ao Naga tribe. Anishi embodies centuries-old culinary heritage, offering a unique blend of savory taste and cultural significance. Crafted from the leaves of the edible Colocasia genus, our Anishi is prepared with utmost care and expertise. Fresh mature green leaves are carefully harvested, washed, and stacked before being wrapped in banana leaves for fermentation. After a week of careful aging, the leaves transition to a vibrant yellow hue, signaling readiness for the next stage of preparation. Ground into a fine paste and shaped into patties, our Anishi is infused with the flavors of the region, with optional additions of chili, salt, and ginger for an extra kick. These patties are then dried over an open fire or under the warm embrace of the sun until perfectly cured, preserving their authentic taste and texture. Anishi is a versatile delicacy, often paired with dry meat, particularly pork, to create mouthwatering dishes favored by the Ao tribe. Its sour undertones add a distinctive tang to culinary creations, making it a cherished condiment in Northeastern cuisine. Our Anishi is sourced directly from Nagaland, the heartland of Naga culture, ensuring authenticity and quality in every bite. Produced by Kheti Culture, a trusted purveyor of indigenous delicacies, our Anishi celebrates the rich culinary heritage of the region.
