Bright purple vintage rug - G824

Radiant violet with a medallion in the centre and tendrils extending to the corners, drawn in dark aubergine. A striking colour that instantly adds character to a room.Artisans in Turkey hand-knotted this rug from wool on cotton. This hand-knotted craftsmanship makes it sturdy and durable. Over the years, the colour has softened slightly, enhancing its vintage character. Thanks to the low pile, the rug lies flat and is easy to clean with a vacuum cleaner. In the living room, it fits under a coffee table; in the bedroom, it looks beautiful beside or in front of the bed. If you place it on a light floor, the colour stands out most; on dark wood, the rug looks warmer and more understated. The dimensions are approximately 260 by 165 centimetres.
