The Arnesby Arts & Crafts Golden Oak Bureau Desk

Rustic Oak, restored Arts & Crafts Bureau with a stunning patina and beautiful wood grain. The bureau has been hand crafted using golden oak and still retains the original handles. There are 3 large drawers for storage and a drop down lid revealing multiple compartments for letters and stationary which had been painted black; the lid forms a space to work which is ideal for a laptop. This piece has a wonderful country charm and in this style is becoming increasingly hard to find. The dimensions are approximately as follows Height 95cm Width 84cm Depth 44cm Height of desk once lid pulled down 76cm The condition is good and solid, no evidence of any woodworm, the drawers all open and close smoothly, where one has had the base replaced in the past to make it more functional This piece does not have a key as the lid sits ever so slightly proud due to age and it will not lock but this is not noticeable. UK Courier Delivery is available and calculated at checkout, otherwise local collection from Leicestershire/ Northamptonshire is possible. Thanks for looking!
