This crisp white glossy glaze fires to a solid, even white with a smooth shine that fully covers the clay body underneath. It works well as a clean backdrop for underglaze decoration, sgraffito or stamped texture, and it also stands nicely on its own for simple, classic pieces. Part of the Opaque Series, it blends easily with other colors in the line for custom shades or layers well with other mid-fire glazes for added effects. Formulated for cone 5-6 mid-fire kilns, so always fire in a calibrated pottery kiln and test on your own clay body before committing to a full batch.
