Beaujolais-Villages Blanc

Domaine Lachat Beaujolais-Villages Blanc shows the white side of Beaujolais, made entirely from Chardonnay from the Régnié Basse Ronze lieu-dit. The grapes are hand-picked and pressed directly, which helps keep the wine fresh, clear in style and easy to enjoy. Its character comes partly from the ageing: half in stainless steel for purity and freshness, and half in clay amphora for a softer, more textured feel. Native yeasts are used, and the wine is bottled unfiltered, so it keeps a more natural expression. It is a good choice if you like Chardonnay but want a version with a gentle artisanal touch.
