Carl's Place Built-In Golf Room Kit The Built-In Golf Room Kit is a permanent, finished golf simulator built directly into a dedicated room. Instead of a free-standing enclosure that sits inside your space, the impact screen spans the wall itself and is custom-made to your wall dimensions. Adjustable masking keeps a clean 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio, and your turf can run all the way up to the screen with no bottom border for a clean turf-to-screen look. Why Build It In A built-in setup feels more realistic and is more permanent than a free-standing enclosure because it becomes part of the room's design rather than a structure placed inside it. Once it is installed, you do not adjust or move anything between rounds. A finished built-in room can also add value to a home as a standout feature. Because the screen mounts to the wall instead of hanging from a frame, the floor stays open. Finished with curtains or panels that can be pulled back, the same room can serve as a home theater, family room, or general entertaining space when you are not playing. Then hang the screen with the cables and zip ties and tension it for a flat, even surface. After the screen is up, protect the walls and ceiling with curtains, wall or acoustic tiles, or padded panels. Once the room is finished, you are ready to play. This kit is for handy people who are comfortable with home-renovation and construction work. A proper install calls for using laser levels to align components, anchoring lag screws into the top and bottom plates of your walls, demoing any trim boards that interfere with the screen or panels, and having the patience to tension and adjust the screen for a perfect fit. If that kind of work is not a fit for you, a free-standing enclosure kit is the easier route and assembles without this level of construction.
