Versatile Paris Croissant Café

Breakfast in Paris, minus the queue. Croissant Café smells like the first twenty minutes of a good morning. Fresh coffee comes first, softened into a smooth cappuccino with warm milk and a touch of vanilla. Underneath is the croissant: buttery, toasted and a little caramelised at the edges. Tonka and soft woods keep it warm and round all the way down. It's sweet, but more café than bakery counter, and cosy in a way that makes people lean in. The original Croissant Café roll-on is Versatile's bestseller. For this spray, perfumer Margaux Le Paih Guérin pushed the coffee further forward and gave it more power, while keeping the vanilla, milk, butter and tonka that won people over in the first place. Versatile calls it a neo tonka, a new take on one of perfumery's cosiest materials.
