The pieces are puzzled together to form one continuous raven. You will see this style called "Intarsia Inspired" by some makers and "Mosaic" by others, both labels fit. What is included One raven design, finished size 30 inches wide by 20 inches tall, 123 pieces. Two wood options are included. The plywood option uses Maple, Mahogany, Walnut, White Oak, Poplar, and Cedar. The hardwood option uses Maple, Mahogany, Wenge, White Oak, Poplar, Purple Heart, and Cedar for a more exotic look. 5 file formats: SVG, AI, EPS, DXF, PDF. Includes an underlayer for a 3D effect, a piece of inexpensive wood placed under the top pieces to add depth. Color planner to map out wood species and painted pieces before you cut. Written instructions with a file overview and assembly review. Welcome Home Custom signature, sorted by wood grain The files are sorted by wood species and the pieces are pre-rotated to follow the grain, so your finished project has a clean, intentional look without you having to rearrange anything in your design software. We do this on every design that uses multiple wood species. Material and thickness Use one thickness of wood, 1/8 inch (3mm) or 1/4 inch (6mm), or mix the thicknesses for more depth and dimension in the intarsia inspired design. This one is wood-only, 6 or 7 wood tones carry the contrast depending on the option you choose, no paint needed.
