Lady of Mann: The Centenary Steamer
Built in 1930 in Barrow, Lady of Mann was often referred to as the ‘Centenary Steamer’ as she entered service during the 100th Anniversary Year of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. The largest steamer ever built for the Company at the time, she was fast and spacious and served her Company, and her Country during the 1939-1945 War, with distinction for 41 years. As we approach the 200th Anniversary of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, it is perhaps appropriate to relate the story of this fondly remembered steamer. A5. 64 pages plus 4 page cover.
