At Jaulhac, Eugène Le Moult’s country house, jackets in the Hussar style were worn at evening gatherings with scientists and cultural guests. During the Second World War, when Paris was occupied, Jaulhac served as a refuge for his butterfly collection and as a place for small social evenings.
