Accurate EC readings that hold true whatever the temperature of your feedThe Aqua Master Tools E50 Pro is a waterproof pen meter that reads nutrient strength (EC) and solution temperature in a single dip. Its automatic temperature compensation corrects every conductivity reading against the temperature it was taken at, so a tank sitting at 16°C and one sitting at 24°C give you numbers you can genuinely compare against your feed chart. It arrives fully calibrated with batteries fitted, so it is ready to use straight out of the box.Built for daily grow room handling, the housing is IP67 waterproof and shrugs off splashes and wet hands. A calibration indicator confirms the meter is reading correctly, a low battery indicator warns you before readings start to drift, and the pen powers itself down after eight minutes to protect the cells. Two simple buttons switch between EC, Celsius and Fahrenheit. Crucially the electrode is replaceable, so when the probe eventually wears you swap a part rather than buying a whole new meter.Key Benefits EC and temperature in one instrument — one pen instead of two on the bench Automatic temperature compensation keeps EC honest across 0°C to 50°C Fully calibrated out of the box, with 3 x AG-13 batteries included Replaceable electrode extends the meter's working life for years, not months IP67 waterproof housing survives reservoirs, drips and wet hands Calibration and low-battery indicators flag when the meter needs attention Auto power-off after 8 minutes so a forgotten pen does not flatten its batteries Feeding Blind Leads to Weak Roots and Slow GrowthNutrient strength is the single easiest thing to get wrong. Feed too strong and salts build up in the root zone, drawing moisture back out of the roots and causing tip burn, poor nutrient uptake and stalled growth. Feed too weak and plants run short of the elements they need, which shows up as pale leaves, slow growth and disappointing yields. Neither problem announces itself until the damage is already visible. An EC reading before every feed turns that guesswork into a number, and the temperature reading alongside it flags a reservoir running too warm — the condition that strips dissolved oxygen and invites root disease. How to Use Remove the protective cover and rinse the electrode with distilled water, then dry it off. Press the On/Off button to wake the meter. Insert the pen upright into the solution up to the marked edge and stir gently. Wait a few seconds for the reading to settle before recording it. Press the C/F button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Rinse the electrode with clean water after every use, then power the meter off. Re-check calibration periodically against a 1.4 EC reference solution.
