Overview Foradine 10% contains povidone iodine, a traditional anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent suitable for all types of livestock, including cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, and poultry It is designed to prevent infections in newborn animals and to disinfect minor wounds on adult animals. Primary Uses Navel disinfection in newborn livestock: Prevents bacterial and fungal infections in calves, lambs, and other newborn animals Wound care: Can be applied to cuts, abrasions, or other minor injuries to reduce bacterial load and promote healing. General skin disinfection: Suitable for professional use as a bactericidal spray Application Instructions Navel dip for newborns: Immediately after birth, place 5–10 ml of Foradine 10% into a navel dip container. Agitate to ensure the entire navel is coated. Repeat after 4–6 hours. Check the cord after 24 hours and continue daily for up to 5 days if necessary Spray application: Clean the area to remove dirt or debris. Hold the spray about 10 cm from the skin and cover the area completely.
