The Pathology-3 System combines three specialized materials engineered to function independently or as a layered pathological effects system. Included in the System Septic Gel Purulent Infection Simulation Medium A high-viscosity simulation gel designed to replicate infected discharge, wound drainage, and pathological secretions. Ideal for creating abscesses, active infections, compromised tissue, and advanced contamination effects. Secretion Base Customizable Exudate Simulation Medium A translucent detailing gel paired with three flocking blends—Staph, Pseudo, and Cystic—to create customizable infection coloration, tissue variation, and dimensional surface detail. Designed for weeping wounds, irritated tissue, and pathological textures. Coagulant Compound Advanced Clot Simulation Medium A dense coagulation medium formulated to recreate pooled hemorrhage, settled blood, and dimensional clot formations. Designed for wound packing, trauma simulation, and layered tissue effects. Validation Testing The Pathology-3 System underwent environmental and substrate compatibility testing throughout development. Materials were exposed to prolonged high and low temperature conditions with no significant impact on texture, appearance, or application characteristics. Compatibility testing was also conducted across a range of common special effects materials, including latex, silicone, urethane rubbers, flexible foams, and casting resins. No staining was observed under test conditions.
