We lived through our university years reading Japanese fashion magazines and revelling in the bright, retro colours which gave us the energy and liveliness we enjoyed, then and now. We love the way the fashionable vibe of Japanese street fashionistas embraced bright colour combinations with such joie de vivre! This deep purple kaftan with its lovely contrasting embroidery and squarish sleeves would have been paired perfectly with loose denim pants and Birkenstocks + a good leather sling bag the magazines we used to (and still) enjoy!
