Funky Fabrication with Deb Karash - ONLINE

Asheville artist Deb Karash is coming back to The Makery, and this time she's bringing a fun workshop experience that is unlike anything she's offered with us before. Over three days, Deb will share her approach to designing and creating unique dimensional jewelry. We'll use layers to build pieces with volume and interest and learn how to incorporate found objects, beads, and non-traditional materials. She'll share some of her favorite soldering tips as well as how to make the most of cold connections. And she'll show us how texture and patina can be used to create additional depth and interest for maximum visual impact. This is a workshop that goes well beyond the basics - prior successful soldering experience is useful, but otherwise all levels are welcome. And as an added bonus, the entire class will be recorded and you'll get 30 days access to the same videos our online participants will get... at no additional cost!
