The tone is outstanding. When tightly cupped, it delivers rich, saturated distortion with plenty of grit. Played open, it has a bright, powerful voice with excellent clarity and projection. In my opinion, it outperforms many of the new harmonica microphones on the market today. The grill on this baby is bright, excellent condition show-chromed finished.
