Hand carved wooden seeder
Traditionally used in Central and Northern India for sowing seeds, this hand carved wooden seeder once formed part of an agricultural implement used during planting. Carved with geometric motifs and figures, including cattle and deities, these seeders demonstrate how everyday agricultural tools were often embellished with symbolic imagery. No longer common in daily agricultural use, these seeders are now appreciated as collectible folk art and sculptural decorative objects. They can also be repurposed as candle holders or catchalls. 4.5H x 6W inches Made from wood Vintage pieces will show signs of age, wear, and repair consistent with their history.
