Sterile substrate

We offer freshly sterilised substrate here in a small cultivation bag with an inoculation channel. The substrate should be inoculated with approx. 7–10 ml of liquid culture. One culture syringe is therefore sufficient for 2–3 substrate bags. The substrate with mushrooms growing through it can then either be mixed with additional (homemade) substrate, or you can simply grow the mushrooms, use the mushroom caps for the spore cap method described in Lilli’s cultivation e-book, or consume them for therapeutic purposes. We have 3 small options for inoculation: Pure grains (approx. 200ccm) Grains with water beads (approx. 300ccm) Grains with coconut fibres (approx. 300 ccm) The first option is only suitable for mixing with the larger bag of substrate. The large bag (approx. 1200g and 2200ccm) cannot be inoculated directly, but must be mixed with one of the small bags, after which plenty of mushrooms will grow in the bag. You should only order it once you have a well-developed culture, i.e. approx. 7 days after inoculating the culture, when it looks healthy. The large bag comes with a seal that closes airtight and is fitted after mixing.
