Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date SS/18K Gold C-1984 ref. #15053 This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date (reference #15053) features a classic two-tone case combination. The Stainless Steel Oyster case measures 34 mm w/o the crown. It features a less common 18K Gold Engine-Turned bezel. Other features include: its original SS/18K Gold Jubilee bracelet, ref. 62523H-18 and a 18k gold signed Rolex crown. The bracelet is in wonderful condition with very minimal signs of use. It also features a perfect, all original matte gold dial. It’s accented with 3-dimensional angled gold block hour markers. A matching pair of original, faceted gold hands completes the look. The watch is powered by Rolex’s Caliber 3035 chronometer grade movement with 27 jewels, automatic winding and quickset date at 3 o’clock. The watch comes fully serviced including all new gaskets, new case tube, new mainspring, and a new acrylic crystal (about a $750 value in our shop). Along with service, we completely disassembled the case and bracelet and lightly refinished them to match their original factory finish. After refinishing, they were ultrasonically cleaned. Lastly, the watch passed both a pressure and vacuum test so the case is currently sealed (see last pic) This watch is ready for many years of reliable service.
