Snake Plant Petite Kokedama Bring sculptural greenery into your space with our Snake Plant Petite Kokedama — a handcrafted Japanese moss ball featuring a rotating assortment of compact snake plant varieties. Native to West Africa, Snake Plants are loved for their striking upright foliage, architectural form, and incredibly resilient nature. Their thick succulent-like leaves store water, making them one of the easiest and lowest maintenance houseplants available. From deep emerald greens to silvery variegation and textured foliage patterns, each plant offers its own unique character while maintaining the timeless modern aesthetic Snake Plants are known for. Each kokedama is carefully handcrafted using the traditional Japanese art of moss ball planting, transforming this classic houseplant into a living piece of botanical art. Its petite size makes it perfect for desks, shelves, bedside tables, windowsills, offices, and small-space plant styling. Why People Love Snake Plants Extremely beginner-friendly and low maintenance Tolerates lower light indoor spaces Sculptural upright foliage with a modern architectural look Drought tolerant and resilient Beautiful natural decor piece with timeless appeal Approximate Size Overall kokedama measures approximately 4” wide Snake plant variety and foliage pattern may vary slightly Each piece is one of a kind Care Instructions Light: Snake Plants prefer bright, indirect light but are well known for tolerating medium and lower light indoor spaces. Watering: Water when the moss ball feels very light, similar to the weight of a styrofoam ball. Snake Plants prefer to dry out between waterings and are very sensitive to overwatering, so it is important not to keep the moss ball consistently wet. Lower light conditions will cause the moss ball to dry more slowly and require less frequent watering. In bright indirect light, this is typically around every 2–3 weeks. In lower light spaces, watering may be needed closer to every 3–5 weeks depending on your environment. To water, fully soak the moss ball in room temperature water for approximately 10–15 minutes, then allow excess water to fully drain before returning to its dish. You can also water using the dish watering method by adding water directly to the dish and allowing the moss ball to absorb moisture from below. Humidity: Average household humidity is perfect. Growth Habit: Slow-growing with upright architectural foliage that maintains a clean, sculptural appearance over time. The Snake Plant Petite Kokedama combines timeless greenery with traditional Japanese-inspired botanical design, creating an easy-care living accent perfect for gifting or modern indoor plant styling.
