This colorway was inspired by one of my favorite paintings by Monet: Rouen Cathedral Facade (Morning Effect). Here's a link to the painting. He spent two years painting the same cathedral at different times of day, and some have called it the ultimate series in Impressionism. The colors include dark blue, medium blue, soft lilac, eggplant, and a bit of chartreuse with a generous amount of speckles. YARN BASE I dyed this yarn on Squoosh DK, which is made of extra-soft superwash merino and comes on extra-big skeins.
