Tafoya, Ray – Green Seedpot with Mimbres Deer (1988)

This seedpot by Ray Tafoya is tall in shape. It is fully polished and fired green. The piece is etched with a large Mimbres deer as the design. It is surrounded by mountain, plant, and geometric designs. The piece is highlighted with additional yellow and blue clay slips. The seedpot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair. It is signed on the bottom with his White Mountain hallmark.
