Stunning large beetle handmade in Jalisco, Mexico, by Huichol artists. The Wixárika, or Huichol, people are masters of beaded art in Mexico and arguably the world. Beads are painstakingly placed one by one over the wax areas prepared for beading. The body and legs of the insect are made of sculpted resin. The beetle can also be hung on a wall.
