Aquaculture Ozone Technology Redox Minimax Reliable ozone generation for small tanks, built to aquaculture operational standards. Built-in air pump, air dryer, and dual fan cooling — plug and play apart from your ORP controller. 1–2 Gram/Hour 0–100% Adjustable 50-55 Watts New Release All-In-One Design — Air Pump + Air Dryer + Ozone Generator in a single compact unit Corona Discharge PLC Circuit Board for precise, reliable output control ✓ Built-In Air Pump ✓ Built-In Air Dryer ✓ Dual Fan Cooling ✓ PLC Circuit Board ✓ Corona Discharge ✓ ABS Construction The aquarium and aquaculture industry has been plagued by two persistent problems: ozone generators that fail prematurely, and buyers being told they need ozone without being told they also need air preparation — at a minimum, an air dryer to remove moisture before it reaches the generator. We solved both. The Redox Minimax integrates an air dryer and an air pump as standard, so you get reliable, positive-pressure ozone delivery straight out of the box. Whether you're feeding a protein skimmer or a reactor, the built-in air pump provides the positive pressure required — because a protein skimmer's air draw far exceeds what an ozone generator needs, and a reactor needs direct gas supply under pressure. Based on aquaculture operational requirements. No compromises. Why Redox Minimax The Difference Most ozone setups require you to buy three separate components and hope they work together. The Redox Minimax is the only hobbyist-grade unit built on aquaculture engineering — everything you need in one box. 💨 Built-In Air Pump Delivers ozone under positive pressure — essential for reactors and protein skimmers. No external pump needed. A skimmer's air draw far exceeds the generator's requirement; the built-in pump handles it. 🔬 Integrated Air Dryer Pre-filled with colour-changing desiccant media. Removes moisture from intake air before it reaches the corona cell — the single biggest cause of premature ozone generator failure. Replace when the colour changes. ❄️ Dual Fan Cooling Active cooling keeps the corona discharge cell at optimal operating temperature. No overheating, consistent output, longer cell life — even in warm environments. Engineering Key Features Variable Output 0–100% Fine-tune ozone delivery from zero to full output. Dial it back for sensitive species or small volumes; run full power for heavy bio-loads. Suits all small tank applications. PLC Circuit Board Programmable Logic Controller delivers precise, stable output. No flickering, no surges — just clean, consistent ozone production from a proper control system. Corona Discharge Technology The industry-standard method for reliable ozone generation. Produces high-concentration ozone (15–25 mg/L) from ambient air with consistent, repeatable output. ABS Construction Durable, corrosion-resistant housing built for the saltwater environment. Lightweight at under 2 kg, compact enough to sit alongside your skimmer or reactor. Dual Voltage 110V / 220V Ships ready for any mains supply worldwide. No voltage selector switch to fumble with — auto-sensing input handles it. Oxygen Compatible Running on bottled oxygen? Simply bypass the air dryer and air pump and feed oxygen straight in. Or keep the dryer as a second line of defence and just bypass the pump. Your call. Getting Started Quick Setup Guide The Redox Minimax is plug and play. All you need is an ORP controller with an internal relay — and your choice of controller will work. 01 ⚡ Connect Power Plug into mains power (110V or 220V auto-sensing). Position the unit alongside your skimmer or reactor with adequate airflow around the dual cooling fans. 02 🎛️ Set Output Use the output dial to adjust from 0–100%. Start low for small tanks and sensitive species. Increase as needed based on ORP readings. 03 📊 Connect ORP Controller Plug the Redox Minimax into your ORP controller's relay output. The controller will switch the unit on/off to maintain your target ORP setpoint automatically. 04 🔄 Maintain Dryer Watch the colour-changing desiccant in the dryer tube. When the colour shifts, replace the media. This keeps moisture out of the corona cell and extends generator life. Can't I just use the generator without one? Moisture is the number one killer of ozone generators. When humid air enters the corona discharge cell, it degrades the electrodes and reduces output. Every ozone generator needs air prep — we've simply included it as standard so you don't have to buy a separate unit and plumb it in. Q. Do I still need an ORP controller? Yes. The Redox Minimax generates ozone, but you need an ORP controller to tell it when to run and when to stop. Any controller with an internal relay works — plug the generator into the controller's relay output and set your target ORP. The controller handles the rest. Q. Can I run it on bottled oxygen instead of air? Absolutely. Bypass the air pump and feed oxygen straight in. You can also bypass the air dryer, or leave it in place as a second line of defence against moisture. Feeding oxygen will increase ozone concentration significantly. Q. Is the 1G enough for my tank? For most small tanks and aquaculture applications, 1 g/hr is more than sufficient — especially with the 0–100% adjustment range. If you're running a protein skimmer with high air draw or have a heavy bio-load, step up to the 2G for extra headroom. Both models share the same housing and power consumption. Q. How do I know when to replace the desiccant? The dryer tube is filled with colour-changing desiccant media. When the colour shifts from its active state (typically blue or orange, depending on the media) to its exhausted state, replace the media. This keeps moisture out of the corona cell and ensures consistent output and long generator life. Q. Why do most ozone generators fail? Two reasons dominate: no air preparation (moisture kills the corona cell), and cheap construction that can't handle continuous operation. The Redox Minimax addresses both — integrated air drying and cooling, PLC-controlled corona discharge, and ABS housing built for the saltwater environment. Not Sure Which Model?
