A fine Victorian Diamond Starburst Brooch, in 15 ct Gold (thought to be silver tipped), with later Rhodium plating. A central Old European Cut Diamond of approximately 0.28 Carats, H Colour and SI1 Clarity. Eight tapering Starbursts, each set with five graduating Diamonds of Old European Cut and Single Cut Mix (40 in total), and eight smaller Satellite style Old european Cut Diamonds interspersed between each starburst, approximately an additional 1.45 carats of Diamonds of G-I Colour and VS1 - S12 Clarity. Diamond weights (total: 1.73 carats), are approximate as they have been measured and assessed in mounts. English Circa 1890
