Will Crosshair fit my keyboard? If your board uses Cherry MX switches or MX-style clones — Gateron, Kailh, JWK, Akko, Outemu and so on — the caps will mount. The thing to check isn't the switch, it's the layout: confirm your board's key sizes (bottom row, shift, backspace) are covered by the kit you select. What does "tripleshot" actually mean? Three separate plastic injections are molded into a single keycap — body, legend, and accent. Nothing is printed or lasered on top, so the legends physically cannot wear off. Why won't my LED indicator caps light up? Almost always switch orientation. The lamp keycaps are designed for south-facing switch LEDs. On a north-facing board the caps still fit and function normally — the light just sits under the cap body instead of shining through the legend. Is a keyboard included? No. This listing is keycaps only. You'll need a keyboard with MX-style switches already installed. How is Cherry profile different from OEM? Cherry is slightly shorter than OEM with a subtler top-surface angle. Both are sculpted row by row, but Cherry sits lower overall — most people describe it as the more compact, more "settled" of the two. Do I need to keep the tray? Worth it. The set ships in an ABS keycaps tray with a designed cover, which is the tidiest way to store whichever caps your layout doesn't use.
