OIL cooling system for new Honda Monkey125 Oil cooler kit for the new Monkey This is an oil cooler for the new Monkey. Since the mounting part is not the frame, it can be diverted to other vehicles, such as a Dax with the same engine, with minor modifications. It is taken out from the existing oil filter cover. Since the oil passage is not a branched type, the oil pump can remain genuine unless significant tuning is performed. Regarding oil volume It will be approximately 50ml more than the normal amount. After installing the oil cooler, add the genuine specified amount, warm up the engine, and circulate oil to the oil cooler body. Then check the oil level. For reference, if a reinforced oil pump is installed, the oil pressure amount increases, so to prevent airlock, add about 5mm more than the upper end of the level gauge.
