Banksia spinulosa Dwarf

With the unmistakable flowers of a full-sized banksia but in a compact, manageable size, Banksia spinulosa Dwarf is the perfect low-growing variety for a patio or courtyard. As an added bonus, this plant has the unusual feature of flowering through winter – just when most gardens could do with a bright splash of colour. This form of dwarf banksia is a lovely mounding shrub with large golden-coloured candle-shaped flowers over a long flowering period. Being a compact plant, dwarf varieties are well suited to being planted in pots however if you have a bit more room and a garden, they’re also great as a ground cover plant or rockery filler.
