The jigging style on the yellow bone handle is actually a tribute to the work of Charles Platts, a prominent cutler from Sheffield, England who brought his knifemaking skills to America at the end of the 19th century and later joined his knife company with W.R.Case and Sons Cutlery Company in Bradford, Pennsylvania in 1905. The Peanut pattern gets its name from its petite size and shape, fitting discretely and conveniently in a pocket. This durable folding knife two full length blades, the Clip blade and the Pen blade.
