A Panzer Assault Badge, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle surrounding a Panzer IV rolling over grassy terrain with its left tread extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a crimped hinge, maker marked “FRANK & REIF, STUTTGART”), measuring 41.15 mm (w) x 60.21 mm (h), weighing 33.6 grams, missing its pinback and catch and with total loss of bronze finish to the base, in fair condition. 2. A Black Grade Wound badge, first pattern, constructed of blackened brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath with scalloped edges, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 37.68 mm (w) x 43.08 mm (h), weighing 7.2 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of finish and some bending to the edges, in very fine condition. 3. A Black Grade Wound Badge, second pattern,constructed of blackened brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 37.77 mm (w) x 43.78 mm (h), weighing 12.2 grams, demonstrating the loss of its pinback and total loss of black finish to the base metal, in poor condition.
